Why do you offer flex-rate
or by-the-bid pricing?
Because
it helps both you (our customers) and us,
get the best value for each working moment.
For
example, consider an airline that flys each
day from L.A. to New York. If the plane
leaves the ground with half the seats empty,
the airline receives no value for that inventory.
But if the airline were to sell those otherwise
empty seats at a reduced price to customers
willing to fly stand by or to pack at the
last minute, then both the customer and
the airline receive value.
What kinds of projects
can we bid for On Demand?

How does flex-pricing
or by-the-bid work?
You can bid any amount you
wish as long as it meets or exceeds the
minimum bid/charge for your desired time
period. The minimum bid/charge for a project
ranges from $100 - $350. US.
We actually post our production
schedule online allowing you to browse or
search for gaps in our production schedule
or book a last minute project to meet a
critical deadline.
Submit an I.M. On
Demand Project Request according to the
earliest date you want your project to begin.
You will receive an email confirmation
as soon as your bid has been submitted.
You will also receive a follow up email
to confirm any project details that may
be unclear and to let you know if your bid
has been accepted.
Note: The more flexibility
you have with your start date, the more
likely we are to accept a reasonable bid
amount.
How are bids prioritized
and processed?
We'll consider the scope
of the project, the amount of your bid,
the target start and completion dates and
of course the availability of suitable specialists
on our team. We also give preference to
bids that can be started and completed within
a particular gap in our production schedule.
When you submit your bid,
you can prioritize your request as regular,
urgent or standby.
Regular requests
are reviewed and responded to within 1 business
day. If accepted your project will begin
and be completed according to your requested
dates.
Urgent requests are
reviewed and responded to within 4 hours
on the same or next business day, depending
on the time of day you submit it.If accepted
your project will be scheduled for immediate
fulfillment.
Standby requests
are reviewed and responded to within 3 business
days. If accepted your project will be scheduled
for completion at the next available time
in our production schedule. This is great
if you have a fixed budget and have 4 -
8 weeks of flexibility in which to have
the project completed.
Note: May - October is our
peak season. You may need to allow more
scheduling time for standby requests during
this period.
Are bids made public
or used to drive competing bids?
No.
The production schedule is maintained by
our administrative staff and updated manually.
The minimum bid is set by our availability
on any given day, not by bids of other customers.
Of
course the busier we are during any period,
the more the minimum bid/charge is likely
to be.
What happens if our bid
is accepted?
Bids
submitted more than 1 week in advance of
the project start date are subject to a
10% or $100 deposit, whichever is greater,
to be paid within 24 hours of acceptance.
50% of the total agreed
project fee (less taxes) is due 3 days before
the project starts. The initial amount paid
as a deposit is offset against this. The
balance of the project fee is due upon project
delivery.
(For example, if the total agreed project
price is $1000, you would pay $100 as
the initial deposit; $400, 3 days before
the project start, and $500 upon completion.)
For project requests that
are submitted as urgent or within 3 days
of the project start date, you will be required
to pay 50 - 75 % of the total agreed project
fee before we can begin work on the project.
The balance will be due upon project delivery.
What happens if our bid
is rejected?
If
your bid is not accepted because of the
amount of your bid, we will respond to you
by email with a recommended fee. You can
then decide whether you want to pay that
amount and if you agree we will complete
the project for that rate.
If we receive a bid that
we can't accept, we will respond to you
by email letting you know that the request
was not suitable for the On Demand Service.
Unless we indicate otherwise, you are always
free to submit future bids on other projects.
What are our payment
options?
You
can pay with credit card through 2checkout.com
or PayPal. After we have successfully worked
together on at least 4 projects, we will
accept payments by check.
What about project quality?
Our pricing is flexible
but our quality standards are nott.
We use a set production
system and quality assurance process to
make sure that whether you need the final
project delivered in 4 hours, 4 days or
4 weeks, no matter what price you pay, your
project will always be completed according
to our high standards.
Don't let the price fool
you. We also build our years of Internet
marketing expertise into every project we
take on.
